Hello, everyone! Our #101 meeting was held on January 5th via Zoom with 8 members.
The meeting theme this time was HAPPY NEW YEAR & HAPPY BIRTHDAY. The meeting started with a Small Talk Session where everyone shared what they've been up to.
Word of the Day was set to APTITUDE.
In Prepared Speech Session, we had one speaker today. TM Harry shared with us some of the lessons he learned when he planned and implemented an event for executives at his company. His message of the importance of focusing on the objectives and teamwork was very clear and memorable.
This time, we held an irregular corner, AGREE or DISAGREE? This is a corner where you have one or two minutes to express an opinion in favor of or against a topic presented by the facilitator, regardless of your own intentions.
・Rock and Roll is the best kind of music.
・Violent movie should be banned.
・Grown-up children should look after their elderly parents.
・Corona vaccination should be mandatory.
・Tourist industry does more harm than good.
・Studying grammar is waste of time.
・Sumo(相撲) should be included in the Olympics.

After all sessions, the best Table Topic Speaker went to TM Kazuko. We did not vote on the evaluators this time because there were only 1 speaker.
