I can say it was another fun online meeting last night lucidly.
We had 8 people to get together. 3 members plus 3 TM guests and 2 guests.
Bruce san from Hiroshima, Mikiko san from Tokushima, Sarah san from Nagano, Miyuki san from Hachioji and Yoshio san from West Tokyo. We had diversified locations again.
And the program went smoother than ever. Self introduction session went smoothly and we could know each other lucidly with video function.
We followed ZOOM function drill and all the members quickly adopted. And even Bruce san could use more functions amazingly.
Word of the day was "Lucid", introduced by Drian. We could learn this useful word with a couple of examples.
And the special program last night was the song of the day.
Drian played a song with his guitar. The song was "Blackbird".
It was nice to listen to the acoustic sound from speakers in the still of the night.
We had 2 prepared speeches, my speech was High Performance Leadership project 1 and Asami san's was The Entertaining Speaker project 4 - A Dramatic Talk. Asami san's speech was really entertaining. All members shared valuable feedback via chat.
Table Topic Session was for something related to year-end season. Each table topic speaker could pick 1 number for the question. And we had 6 table topic speeches and all were awesome! All speeches were interesting and entertaining. We used table topic board for each question. Also, we did voting for the best table topic speaker by using poll function.
Evaluation session was done by Drian and he could serve as Grand Funk Evaluator to evaluate all the speeches and all the meeting elements, and even he took grammarian's role. His evaluation was fabulous. The improvement points were so lucid to be beneficial for the speakers.
We are getting accustomed to conduct online meeting by the ZOOM system and I think we are enjoying more and more with excitement. This was the last meeting in 2017. But we will have the first meeting in 2018 on January 3rd! We are crazy about this Diversity toastmasters club. It is a new way to enjoy, enrich and encourage ourselves.
