#7 Meeting

Happy New Year!

Usually, most of the offices start their activities on January 4th in Japan, however our club already started on January 3rd. We relished our new year meeting last night.

We had 4 people to get together. 3 members plus 1 TM guest, Sarah san from Nagano. Sarah san visited her home in Tokyo to see her parents and joined from her Tokyo home.

We started chatting in relaxed atmosphere, how we spent this New Year holiday season. Visiting shrines, having traditional dishes to share with families, visiting friends and so forth. We knew all spent relishing new year holidays.

We followed ZOOM function drill as always and all the members quickly adopted.

Word of the day was "Relish", introduced by Asami san. We could learn this useful word in this happy season with a couple of examples.

We had 1 prepared speech by TM Drian. His speech title was "Fasting is slow." He delivered his informative and spiritual stories from his actual experience of 10-day in the last month. He shared many valuable aspects learned by fasting. All members shared valuable feedback via chat.

Table Topic Session was for something related to new year vacation. Each table topic speaker could pick 1 number for the question. And we had 8 table topic speeches and all were awesome! All speeches were interesting and relishing. We used table topic board for each question. Also, we did voting for the best table topic speaker by using poll function. The best table topic speaker was TM Drian with his speech regarding Diversity TMC this year. It contained persuasive and sympathetical messages.

Evaluation session was done by Sarah san. Her evaluation was getting to the points.

We all relished the online meeting by the ZOOM system. This time the sound was echoing periodically and that irritated the speaker. I need to check the reason why echoing occurred with technical advisor in ZOOM. Still we are relishing more and more with excitement. This was the first meeting in 2018. We all regard this is a new way to enjoy, enrich and encourage ourselves.
