#48 Meeting

Toastmaster: Midori-san

Meeting Theme : beeršŸŗ (Beer?! Midori-san explained why she chose it as the theme. The advertisements of Oktoberfest are seen everywhere in Japan around this season though itā€™s originally from Germany. I canā€™t drink, but indeed I have noticed thatšŸ˜‰)

4 guests from India, Vietnam, other 2 countries. One of them belongs to Toastmasters Club in Spanish and the other person speak Russian as her mother tongue. Wow! We are really Diversity Toastmasters Club.

Word of the Day introduced by Takako-san: rejuvenate

1. to make something work much better or become much better again

e.g.) plans to rejuvenate the inner city areas

2. to make someone look or feel young and strong again

e.g.) I came back from holiday feeling rejuvenated.

A glass of beeršŸŗ after work rejuvenated me.

The word is what I really need! I have been like an old woman with severe back pain.
