I believe she will achieve her running target time for a full marathon in the near future.
2) Which would you like to live in the city or in the countryside?
Hideo san chose to live in the countryside because he's living in Tokushima which is full of great nature. He can play golf within a 30-minute ride to a golf course. When he visits the city, he enjoys sightseeing, but he soon misses Tokushima’s beautiful and peaceful scenery.
3) Which do you like better summer or winter?
Paul-san prefers summer because he likes hiking with his friends.
Hiking in winter is pretty cold for him.
4) What type do you want to marry?
Yuri wants to marry a sincere person because she wouldn’t want to be in a relationship where they doubt each other. She wants to marry someone who can talk the talk and walk the walk. When they start to have had children, she wants her kids to grow up obedient and truthful.
5) Where in the world would you like to live most?
Megumi-san chooses Italy because she has been to Italy once and she visited Rome, Florence, Venice, and Naples. She was totally excited about the atmosphere there which is very good and the country has beautiful stone and streets.
6)What is the most memorable moment in your life?
Felix-san shared his memorable moment which happened recently and it was a situation with his father. (I am very sorry to say, but I could hardly catch up with what he said in the middle of his speech due to my poor listening skill). However, he said that at that time, his father was pleased, said a lot of things and took a lot of pictures, even though traditionally his parents tend not to express their feelings.
Part 2
Takako-san also explained how to join the session.
Other members had a chance to speak by choosing one picture out of 11.
1) Thanksgiving (#1)
LanAnh-san had a discussion about the meaning of Thanksgiving with her nephews several days ago.
They had turkey for dinner and everybody gathered together in the same way Americans celebrate the event.
In her country, Thanksgiving is not celebrate in her culture. But she feels it is a very meaningful and memorable celebration for all of her family. She hopes to go to America in the future and experience Thanksgiving there.
2) Rainbow (#4)
Yuki-san shared one of the best rainbow sceneries she saw. She was on an airplane and was asleep when she was woken up by the person seated behind her taking photos of something. She looked outside her window and saw two full circle rainbows!
She really wanted to take pictures of them, unfortunately her mobile phone’s battery was dead. However, that scenery was embedded in her memory and it something she will never forget.
3) A dog and a lot of sheep (#8)
Mikiko-san shared about “wolf and shepherd” in the Isop story. Through the story, she taught us some lessons. First, sometimes we get bored and have nothing to do. So we might do something we never expected we would. Second, there are different points of view. Lastly, we should not lie to others.
4) Cherry blossom (#3)
Yumi-san shared a memory she she had when she lived in Thailand. Some cherry blossom trees can be found there because Thai people like the Japanese culture. In spring, Thai people take photos in front of the cherry blossoms. So the month of April, reminds her of her life in Thailand.

LanAnh-san was so impressed and moved when she saw the new Japanese Emperor delivered his speech on TV.
And she hopes the Japanese Reiwa era to be stronger, more peaceful, and harmonious.
