#80 meeting

Hello subscribers!

Our #80 meeting was held on February 17th via Zoom, and we had a pleasant meeting with 11 members and 4 guests from United Kingdom and Japan!

Our Toastmaster of the Day, TM Yukimasa Matsuda effectively led the whole meeting in a calm and well-organized manner. One of our guests tonight gave us feedback that Diversity's the small talk session is truly impressive! The small talk session was lively and vigorous as always.

The word "vigorous" was Word of the Day which was chosen by TM Shinsuke Ishihara.

In the prepared speeches session, we had two speakers; TM Kazuko Takayama, and TM Takako Yamada.

First speaker Kazuko delivered a humorous speech as a practice for her area contest! We could see her standing and making a great, vigorous speech which was full of effective facial expressions and body language. Wish her win the area contest!

Second speaker Takako shared her experiences about students from developing countries, and thoughts about pursuing dream and pursuing happiness. Her speech was full of kindness and warm caring, and effective facial expressions!

Our Table Topics Master of the Day, TM Mikiko Bandoh, prepared thought-provoking questions about how to wisely express your anger. What an interesting topic it was! Seven impromptu speakers joined the session; TM Shinsuke Ishihara, TM Paul Peng, Guest Alam Khan, Guest Hiroshi Oyamada, Guest Hon Tan, Guest Wataru,TM LanAnh Pham.

General Evaluator TM Yuki Morimoto smoothly coordinated the evaluation session. We had three well-rounded evaluators, TM Takeshi Nakamura, and TM LanAnh Pham. Also, thanks to fantastic work from our Timer TM Anita Fujii, Grammarian TM Asami Miyazaki, and Ah-counter TM Paul Peng did great job for improving our public speaking skills.

That concludes my report. Please feel free to send me your feedback anytime. Looking forward to seeing you soon!
