We had a small yet productive meeting on November 6th! There were five Diversity members attending, and we had a guest speaker from England.
After the small talk session where we mainly exchanged the weather information of each place, we got to the prepared speech session. There was an exciting Ice breaker speech by our new member. She gave us an interesting insights of Japanese anime in Brazil, and how it can be utilized as a soft power. Her perspective on Japanese anime was captivating our attention. Congratulations on your first prepared speech, Ms. F! The second speaker was the guest from England giving us a fascinating storytelling speech based on his own experience. It was so exciting following his storyline since he ws so effectively using tension and release. Thank you for the intriguing speech, Mr. N!
Since there were only six of us, we gave a group evaluation for the prepared speeches. I found that it can be helpful to get somewhat detailed feedback than just a note from a few members.
All in all, it was another fruitful meeting. Thank you all who participated in the meeting!
