My Commitment 公約
I always have speech first in mind, that means I value the efforts to produce a speech. Against all tasks or roles, I still put my priority in delivering speeches. I regard anyone who produce any speeches are the most valuable and respectful person to whom I appreciate. Because these persons are the giver by taking time and working hard. On that sense, I take the club importance into account and take actions to ensure your club memberships.
私は、スピーチを第一に考えます。スピーチをする行為が最も価値があると思うのです。その他すべての大事なことや役割をおいても、やはりスピーチが一番大事だと思うのです。スピーチをするすべての人に敬意を抱き、価値と尊敬を感じています。そのような人は、時間をかけ真摯に何かを届けようとする人だからです。その意味で、クラブを大切に思い、クラブ会員の皆さんが安心して活動できるよう務めます。
I commit you these three things which I have had in mind through my toastmaster journey.
下記の３つは、トーストマスターの活動を通じて念頭においてきたことですから、皆さんにお約束させていただきます。

In taking actions, I keep customer first in mind, that means I always review the things from the aspect of audience who sits at the corner of the venue. I throw some questions to myself how the things look like from there. I call out any missing or findings if needed. In supporting Contests or COTs, I have always kept those in mind. Placing myself on an audience seat is what I want to take into account.
何か行動する時、私は、カスタマーを第一に思います。私はいつも会場の隅に座っている観客のような視点で物事を見てしまいます。そこから見える様子がどんなだか、自分にあれこれ問いかけます。忘れているものや気づいた点があれば、必要に応じて声を上げます。コンテストやCOTに関わった際も、いつもそのように考えました。観客席からはどうみえるのか、を大切にします。
Catalyst as a Servant
Based on the above, if I could express myself as a toastmaster with a single word, I say Catalyst as a Servant. I would like to be a division catalyst, than a division director. I will not direct something to you, but I would like to help you to sort out your idea and pull out your potential capabilities so that you can be more creative and enhance your capacity. In that way, my visions will appear in tangible manner.
上記を踏まえ、トーストマスターでの私が目指すことを一言で表すなら、Catalyst as a Servantと言えるでしょう。私は、ディヴィジョン・ディレクターよりも、ディヴィジョン・カタリストでありたいと思います。皆さんに何かを指示するのではなく、皆さんがご自身の考えを整理しご自身の可能性を引き出せるようお手伝いをし、皆さんがより創造的でより多くの可能性を手にしていただければと思います。そうしてこそ、私の目指すものが目に見えるかたちになるのではと考えます。
