Our recent new member, Bin will be Toastmasters. Come over to practice your public speaking!

2. Speech Tips Spring Conference reminds us that the ambition of any Toastmasters should be to become a world class speaker! The key to success in speeches is about not giving up and believing in yourself.

We never communicate information only. We always communicate a mood. When we feel good, we make people feel good. When we feel ill at ease, we make people feel ill at ease. Whatever we are speaking about will be associated with the feeling we communicate. In Toastmasters, members are supportive, so even if we are fighting nervousness on stage, things will be fine. A club is a safe environment. However, the purpose of the training is not to need to be supported by the audience, but to become able to take the lead and share passion about a topic. The more we make people feel good as we communicate, the more our topic will be connected with feeling good. For us, what makes feel good is always worth paying attention to. What will be your special approach of making people feel good?
